After the Ceremony

Reception Ideas

There are three ways to celebrate after your vows — and one of them doesn't even require leaving the chapel. Here's how to think it through, plus our favorite spots for each.

Three ways to celebrate

Start with one question: where does everyone go after the "I do"? Most couples land on one of these three:

Option 1 · A Room of Your Own

Book a private room at a venue or restaurant

Several restaurants and event spaces nearby host private or semi-private receptions — The Bell House fits up to 45, Villa Di Campagna has a room for up to 100 guests plus a second for up to 25, and McAdoo's has private rooms of various sizes. Many handle food, beverage, and setup in-house, which makes this the easiest option of the three — book the room, and the heavy lifting is done for you.

And nobody has to go hungry between the ceremony and dinner: with The Premier, add the Gathering Hour graze bar at the chapel — a fixed spread of artisan cheeses, charcuterie, seasonal fruit, and sweet bites, sized to your guest count — to hold everyone over while photos wrap, then the whole group heads to the reservation together.

Best for: larger guest counts and a more traditional dinner-reception feel.

Option 2 · Celebrate Where You Stay

Make where you stay the venue

Book a stay with real gathering space — a private house, a cabin resort, or a hotel with its own event space — and the celebration happens right where everyone's staying: no closing time and no drive at the end of the night. The houses on our list give you your own catering, your own bar, and your own playlist; the hotels handle rooms for the whole guest list, with catering brought in or done for you.

One honest caveat: most Airbnbs prohibit events in their house rules — don't book a random listing and hope. Every place on our list below genuinely welcomes gatherings.

Best for: groups who want the celebration and the weekend's lodging in one place — and to hang out as late as they like.

Option 3 · Zero Logistics

Keep it all at the chapel

With The Premier, add our refreshment cart and the bottomless Graze Experience from Grate Graze Boards — served from a beautifully styled graze bar, with unlimited refills. We have an outdoor patio space for guests to hang out after your ceremony.

Sample Timeline 🪞 1 hr hair and makeup & setup 💍 30-min ceremony 🥂 1.5 hr small celebration (photos, charcuterie, champagne toast) ✨ 30-min sendoff and cleanup

Best for: couples who want their time with us to be the whole celebration.

Graze Bar packages from Grate Graze Boards are available exclusively with The Premier experience, and the choice comes down to two options: a fixed light-bite spread, or bottomless with unlimited refills. Questions about timing your window? Text us — we'll walk you through it.
