These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of chapeltx.com (the "Site"), operated by Chapel at Wimberley LLC, d/b/a The Chapel at Wimberley ("The Chapel," "we," or "us"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
These Terms cover the website only. Ceremony bookings, tours, add-ons, and gift cards are governed by the Venue Use Agreement & Waiver you accept at checkout, which controls if it conflicts with anything here.
1. Use of the Site
You may use the Site to learn about The Chapel, explore our experiences and the surrounding area, and book with us. You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it
- Scrape, crawl, or copy the Site's content in bulk, or use automated tools to access it other than ordinary search engine indexing
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or the systems behind it
- Impersonate The Chapel or misrepresent your affiliation with us
2. Bookings and Payments
Bookings are made through FareHarbor, a third-party platform, and are subject to FareHarbor's own terms in addition to ours. Prices shown on the Site are current at the time of publication but may change, and the price at checkout controls. Cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, and no-show policies are set out in the Venue Use Agreement & Waiver presented at checkout and summarized on our FAQ & Policies page.
3. Site Content
All content on the Site, including text, photographs, video, logos, graphics, and page design, is owned by or licensed to The Chapel and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Site content, or use the name or likeness of The Chapel commercially, without our written permission.
4. Accuracy of Information
We work to keep the Site accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that every detail is complete, accurate, or up to date. Photographs and video are representative; the venue, grounds, décor, and add-ons may vary. Descriptions of restaurants, lodging, vendors, and other businesses on our Getaway Guide and Reception Ideas pages are our opinions at the time of writing and are provided for convenience only.
5. Third-Party Links and Businesses
The Site links to third-party websites and lists third-party businesses, including vendors, restaurants, lodging, and activities. We do not control and are not responsible for those businesses, their websites, their availability, their prices, or the quality of their services. Any arrangement you make with a third party is between you and that third party.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Chapel and its owners, managers, members, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any content on it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Nothing in this section limits liability for a booked event, which is addressed in the Venue Use Agreement & Waiver.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Chapel and its owners, managers, members, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we use it.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Comal County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
