Camp Fimfo
Cabins and upscale campsites on the Guadalupe with pools, a waterslide, and activities built in — a vacation inside your vacation.
The kids-are-coming answer. Lots of activities onsite.

Canyon Lake is the quiet one — and the close one. The chapel sits in the hills just above it, so staying here means a fifteen-minute drive on the big day and a lake view with your morning coffee. It's the clearest lake in Texas, and an afternoon on a pontoon with your favorite people is about as good as a wedding trip gets.
This is also where the big houses are: gated estates and lakeview rentals that sleep everyone under one roof, some with room to host the celebration itself. Add a show at Whitewater Amphitheater or a horseback ride through real ranchland, and the days fill up easily.
Fair warning from locals: the lake is about mornings and afternoons, not restaurant rows. Most couples staying here drive into Wimberley or Gruene for the big dinner — twenty easy minutes either way.
