Your Ceremony

Food & drinks at the chapel

The short answer

Outside food and drink stay home, except: cake (what's allowed depends on your experience), champagne for the toast (you bring the bottles, we chill and serve), and on Premier, your own beer and wine with Sip & Celebrate or cold food with Grazing Table Setup.

No outside food or drinks come into the chapel except in the ways below. They're what make a ceremony feel like a celebration: cake, champagne for the toast, and — on the Premier experience — your own beer and wine or a grazing table.

Cake

What's allowed depends on your experience:

  • Intimate — no outside cake.
  • Signature — bring a cake for the two of you (a cutting cake for photos and a private bite — not served to guests).
  • Premier — bring a cake to serve to all your guests. We'll have a cake table ready; just tell us your plan in the Pre-Wedding Questionnaire.

The champagne toast

If you've added the champagne toast to your experience, here's the one quirk to know: you bring the bottles. Texas law (TABC) means we can't purchase alcohol on your behalf — but hand us your bubbly and we'll store it, chill it, and serve it at the moment you choose in your questionnaire. You bring the label you love; we handle everything else.

Beer and wine (Premier: Sip & Celebrate)

Premier couples can add Sip & Celebrate from the couples dashboard. It's required for any beer, wine, or seltzer at your event:

  • What you bring: beer, wine, and seltzers of the kind sold in a Texas grocery store (White Claw and Cayman Jack are fine). Beer and seltzers in cans only — no glass beer bottles. Wine can come in its bottle. No liquor, and nothing spirit-based (so no High Noon or canned cocktails).
  • How it arrives: already chilled, in coolers, when your window opens, along with your champagne for the toast. Everything goes to our server — nothing stays in cars or suites.
  • How it's served: our TABC-certified server pours every drink, after the ceremony, in clear disposable cups. Self-serve isn't allowed, the server may check IDs, and there are no drinking games.
  • Last call is 30 minutes before your window ends. Leftover unopened drinks go home in your car.

Food beyond cake (Premier: Grazing Table Setup)

Premier couples can add Grazing Table Setup from the couples dashboard. It's required for any food other than cake or charcuterie from Grate Graze:

  • Cold or room temperature only. Think Jason's Deli sandwich trays, wraps, and salads, or charcuterie boards. Nothing is heated or kept warm on site, and hot food can't be delivered.
  • A restaurant or caterer can drop off your order; they can't stay to serve.
  • You bring the food, plates, napkins, and serving pieces; we provide the tables, a fridge, ice, and cleanup.
  • It's a standing, cocktail-style spread, not a sit-down meal, and food service ends 15 minutes before your window closes.

All other outside food and alcohol stays home.

Refreshments

We also offer a Refreshment Cart add-on (chilled non-alcoholic drinks for your guests) and, for Premier couples, the Charcuterie Cart from Grate Graze Boards. Both live on your couples dashboard.
