Two weeks out — the questionnaire
Your Pre-Wedding Questionnaire on the couples dashboard (my.chapeltx.com — the link came in your welcome text) is due two weeks before your ceremony. It's where you lock in the details we set up for you: your exact ceremony start time, final guest count, vendors, cake plans, sendoff, and backdrop choice. Ten minutes, one sitting.
One thing to know: your final guest count can go up after you submit (text us and we'll unlock it), but not down — so count carefully, then submit.
The week of — the hold
We place a refundable authorization hold on your booking card the week of your event: $200 for most bookings, or $500 for Premier bookings made on or after September 29, 2026 and for any booking with Sip & Celebrate. It's released automatically about a week afterward — you'll only ever see a charge if something's damaged or the window runs over.
What to bring on the day
- Marriage license — the one piece of paper that matters. See making it legal.
- Rings — and a designated ring-holder.
- The music phone — charged, playlist downloaded, in the hands of your music person. See how music works.
- Vows — printed or in a vow book reads better in photos than a phone.
- Champagne bottles — if you've added the toast (we chill and serve; you bring the bubbly).
- Beer, wine, and seltzers — if you've added Sip & Celebrate: already chilled, in coolers, beer and seltzers in cans. See food & drinks.
- Grazing table food — if you've added Grazing Table Setup: cold or room-temperature food, plus plates, napkins, and serving pieces.
- Cake — if your experience includes it. See cake & champagne.
- Decor — anything you're adding, plus boxes to carry it back out. See decorating the chapel.
- Leash + a pet handler — if a four-legged guest is coming. See bringing your pet.
